Description
The BEATLES. 45 rpm vinyl record. Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX. Vinyl is great with light scuffing, labels are clean with little ring wear. SUPER Collectable. One of the Original Canada Nine Beatles Capitol 45s. The 9 unique Singles issued on the iconic yellow/orange swirl label prior to Canada Capitol falling in line with the 19 USA Beatles Capitol/pre-Apple releases (Hold your Hand thru Lady Madonna). PLEASE PLEASE ME is paired with ASK ME WHY. Two classic Lennon-McCartney tunes from 1963 issued as their follow up single to Love me do. Also From March 1963 UK LP Please Please Me release which preceded Beatlemania by a few months. Capitol USA NEVER released these two together as a single.! VJ released it about the same time as Canada and it sold poorly, so it was halted and redone a year later as Please please me / From me to you, which went to number One in 1964 a month after I want to hold your hand!! These Canada Nine are so hard to find VG+ or better! And always priced over $50 if EX. Request a copy of my Top 100 Hard to Find Beatles songs on 45 Single list, if interested. This is the ONLY way to find these 2 songs as a Capitol Single! Both sides MONO. Stereo did not become common on 45s till 1969! Request my 150 Beatles Songs in Stereo on 45 Singles if interested! See photos, actual record. Common white sleeve. But, I will include original Canada Capitol black and white sleeve from 1963 if purchased at the Buy it Now price. From 50+ year Beatles collector. Shipped with USPS Media Mail. Total postage for all purchases is $5!
