The BEATLES 45 rpm vinyl record. Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX. SUPER Collectable. One of only 6 Canada - Apple Beatles 45s. There were NO later Beatles on Apple singles after this one. USA reissued all 19 Swirl singles on Apple 1971-1975. Each of these Canada Beatles Apple Six came with either Canada only WHITE “Apple” Company Sleeves OR with rarer cooler Canada only WHITE “THE BEATLES ON APPLE” Company Sleeve!! The included sleeve is VG+, some tape and a stain or two and the paper used was thinner than usual so they wrinkle easily and age quicker than the similar US Black Apple sleeves. It’s a great counterpoint Collectable to the Black US “The Beatles on Apple” Company Sleeve (US sleeve is way easier you find, but getting more expensive too, Average $5 apiece nowadays). See photos. THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD and FOR YOU BLUE. Another Classic McCartney ballad, perhaps his 2nd best!?!? And another Harrison love song for the B side. It’s not “Something” but it is “rhythm and blues”. Notice the B side has the Apple stem pointed East, toward 3 o’clock. On the US Apple B side it pointed north/12 o’clock. East or West pointing stems are rare worldwide (see Venezuela Apple discs). This is a desirable collectable. EVERY Canada Apple single, Beatles and others, had the B side East pointing stem!! Also, no 360 ridges on any Canada Apple pressings. Flatter than pancakes! Most of the world and US Apple had the label rim ridges! The fifth Beatles single issued worldwide primarily in Stereo, though some countries still stayed Mono. Stereo did not become common on 45s till 1969!
