The BEATLES and Tony Sheridan, 45 EP. 4 Songs. All historic earl tracks recorded in 1961 in Germany. This is an original early Beatles EP from GERMANY with original POLYDOR Red Labels, this is the Third Edition with this Orange Picture Sleeve cover!! Prior 1963 Editions had Green Picture Sleeve cover (see photo). This EP has 4 of the 8 songs from their early German Polydor recordings! These 4 songs were released worldwide on multiple singles and EPs in 1964, as was every Beatles song till Rubber Soul!!! In the US these 4 songs came out on MGM Singles!! This 45 Vinyl Condition is Goldmine VG+, my second highest grade, means mostly shiny with some scuffs, clean and plays thru great! A great copy for its age! Proud to own! And labels are fully clean with little wear and NO writing. VG+ means Great, Collectable, Worth Saving and Having for a Permanent Collection. I keep VG+ and better, unless I find an EX (Excellent) to replace it!! NM to me is only for Still Sealed items! Super awesome for 55 year old vinyl. These POLYDOR Beatles Singles and EPs are fantastic Collectables!! These 4 early Beatles songs are : MY BONNIE (with the spoken English intro) and CRY FOR A SHADOW (the Harrison-Lennon instrumental rocker) plus THE SAINTS and WHY (Can’t You Love Me Again). You get your money’s worth here for more reasons than one!! All 4 were issued worldwide as singles in several countries but My Bonnie with the English Intro is the rarest!! Originally recorded with a slow German intro for the German fans, then the Rnglish intro for the British fans, the NO intro for the US fans!!! So 3 version are available. Here all 4 are MONO, but Stereo versions were released on later records!’ This also comes with Common White Sleeve and original 1964 POLYDOR Orange cardboard Picture Sleeve from Germany ONLY!! And these are made of good cardboard, not just paper! NOTE: both front and back of PS are EX, no writing, little wear!! The songs here are MONO! And all the Original 60s Beatles 45s were MONO until Get Back. Note the “M” on right side of record label. It indicates Mono! Stereo did not become common on 45s till 1969!
