Description
The BEATLES. 4 song EP. USA. VeeJay (VJ). 45 rpm vinyl record. Spizer Code: “VJEP903.02c”. Vinyl Condition is Goldmine VG+. And the Fantasy (Not original) Picture Sleeve is EX. Very nice vinyl with some scuffs and marks, but proud to own. Labels are a bit worn and some marker use on B side, but no writing, and Sleeve is like new, no wear, $10 Fantasy Picture Sleeve made to house the record in a nicer than plain white sleeve. It’s clean with no writing, A Great Collectable. Very hard to find nice copies of this record under $100!! Originally issued in 1964 on VeeJay / VJ labels, and many different label styles out there. The Beatles were so hot in spring 1964 that VJ has several plants pressing the same record at the same time. All are legitimate issues, just different. It all comes down to vinyl quality and label and sleeve appearance!! This was the only Beatles VJ 4 song EP ever issued. And Capitol issued 2 4 song EPs, but in the US it was a dying breed of 45, in its last year of marketing. Lots to search through and pricing varies a lot on these EPs. Songs on this one: MISERY and ANNA plus ASK ME WHY and TASTE OF HONEY. All these Beatles EPs are MONO. Not indicated on labels or sleeves. MISERY was eventually released by Capitol on 45 in 1965, and ASK ME WHY was on 45 worldwide as the backing song to Please Please Me. But, the other 2 are all rare Hard to Find Songs on 45 worldwide. Numbers 38 and 69 on my Hard to Find List. Request my 2 Lists: Beatles Top 100 Hard to Find Songs on 45 Singles Worldwide, or Beatles 150 Stereo Songs on 45 Singles Worldwide, if interested. This EP is MONO. This one comes with common White sleeve, and like new thin cardboard Fantasy Picture Sleeve shown (sleeve photo is from the same photo session as VJ Introducing The Beatles LP cover). See photos, actual record. From 50+ year Beatles collector. Shipped with USPS Media Mail and Global Shipping Program. All purchases ship for $5 total, so Browse for others, no added shipping. Best.
