The BEATLES. 45rpm single vinyl record. Italy original Parlophon 1966 Black label release. Their standard stock labels were Dark Green, Blue, or Black in the 60s, and the Promos were on White labels, certainly rarer and seemingly issued for each Beatles Italy single. This one’s Condition is Goldmine EX, mostly shiny vinyl with maybe a few scuffs and marks. Plays thru well. With clean labels, no writing, some light wear, 55 years old!! Lightly played vinyl. With standard white sleeve and its wonderful 1966 Italy only Picture Sleeve. Notice it is the Picture Sleeve version with the “Yellow Flag” (Issued at same time as those without the Yellow Flag, done as a special advertisement for a radio show of top hits, late ‘65 thru early ‘67, see photo 5). Only 5 Beatles Picture Sleeves had the Yellow Flag (This one plus: We can work it out, Michelle, Paperback Writer, and Strawberry Fields). Promo discs did not generally come with Picture Sleeves. Italy has a wonderful set of original 1960s Picture Sleeves for each single, nearly 35, now rather expensive, near $75-100 each, but a great collectable subset of Beatles Sleeves. I will be selling a few soon, including this one! Italy Promos are also a SUPER Collectable. I have a few to sell also. These Two songs: YELLOW SUBMARINE and ELEANOR RIGBY are 2 worldwide common Beatles songs. Both are Mono here but are available together in Stereo on 45s only on Japan 1977 reissues, (and much rarer Stereo US Capitol 45 from 1976 and 1988. Ask me for details if you gotta know!!).
