Description
The BEATLES. 45 rpm vinyl record. Original Beatles release from early 1967. Great EX vinyl, EX labels with no writing, and EX Original Picture Sleeve with super cool Beatle group photo!! STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER and PENNY LANE. Two superb Lennon-McCartney songs that were going to be on Sgt. Pepper’s but came out early since it was 6 months since Their last single. And this is Still a SUPER Collectable. It’s not the piccolo trumpet ending on Penny Lane version but it is the real deal!! That Promo has caused a lot of searching for this single. It was bootlegged more than once and the boots outnumber the real ones!! It even had Bootlegged Picture Sleeves. Sorry, this one is real!! If you see a fake one, the inner flaps are extra wide, about a full inch. Normal inner flaps are about 1/2 inch. See any other 60s Capitol picture sleeve to compare. These 2 songs were released in early 1967 and they did 13 other tracks for the album. Neither song, or any US Capitol 60s single is on my Beatles Hard to Find Songs on 45 Single Worldwide List. Both are common. Request a copy of my Top 100 Hard to Find Beatles songs worldwide on 45 list, if interested. And Both sides here are MONO, of course!! Request my List of 150 Beatles Songs in Stereo worldwide on 45 Singles, if interested, no charge. Most reissues stayed Mono if they started Mono. BUT NOT ALL. There are some major Capitol Beatles Stereo surprises on reissue singles. See photos of this one. Actual record, and it comes in common white sleeve and Picture Sleeve shown. I am a 50+ year Beatles collector. Item Shipped with USPS Media Mail and Global Shipping Program. Multiple purchases all ship for $5 total. Browse for others! Best. Beatle Lew.
