Description
The BEATLES 45, RARE single from INDIA on Black Parlophone labels, early 1967, a worldwide hit single that year! This was another great Beatles India Single and they really sold well in foreign countries like India, Australia, Philippines and Canada. Still amazing to think about it!! Both Sides were unique hits in Spring 1967, as most of the world had not had a new Beatles Single release since Yellow Submarine!! These 2 hits: STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER and PENNY LANE. INDIA was one of several countries to release more Beatles Singles than US, so their Singles from Japan, Philippines, Costa Rica, Greece, Australia, Mexico, and India are all quite Collectable, many Beatles songs NOT released in US or UK!! This Goldmine condition is EX on this record rarity! My highest grade! Mostly shiny with minor scuffs and marks but no scratches effecting play. BOTH SIDES PLAY THRU WELL, virtually NO clicks and the music is loud anyway, both sides!!! And nice clean labels, NO writing!! NOTE: Photos taken under 2 spotlights so dust and specks show easily, but I do Disc Washer Cleaning before shipping so they arrive quite nice, considering most India Singles are often worn! For me NM is for Still Sealed records only!! EX means EXCELLENT vinyl, proud to own, no need to search for a better copy!! And VG+ is fully Collectable until an EX comes along!! MOST OF THESE INTERNATIONAL BEATLES SINGLES ARE SUPER HARD TO FIND AS EX, MANY ARE QUITE RARE, ESPECIALLY THE ONES WITH RARE SONG COMBINATIONS. I’ve only seen this one from India about ONCE a year on EBay. These old 60s singles were made tough to hold up to high humidity and lots of wear and tear. Both songs are MONO!! Both songs are on my personal HTF List! Request my List of 100 Beatles Hard to Find Songs on 45 Singles Worldwide, If interested, Or the 150 STEREO Beatles Songs on 45 Singles Worldwide. No charge!! Best to every fan. See photos 1-2 for actual record. And Photos 3-4 for the included Original Parlophone Company Sleeve! Also Ships in common White sleeve!! THIS IS ANOTHER RECORD from my personal set of my 150 Beatles Best International Singles I will be selling over the next 6 months (no US or UK Singles in the set)!! Price reduces weekly till sold! Who else does that?? Ships thru USPS Media Mail or Global Shipping Program. And multiple purchases ship for $5 total!! Best to all! QUESTIONS?? Beatle Lew.
