A REAL AUCTION!! STARTs AT A PENNY!! 1 DAY ONLY!
This is a NICE solid group of classic Beatles Lp's, I will describe as best I can. A solid shiny VG or better stereo pressing of the iconic 1st issue Sgt Pepper Capitol Album, this one has nice labels, clean playing surface, the insert and the correct psychadelic inner sleeve, some water stain and tape on the cover, I'd call the cover fair, the record is nice. Let It Be is a solid shiny VG+ Lp, VG cover, correct photograph type inner sleeve w/ small tape support where the records always make them split, Yesterday is mono, I believe 1st press, VG side 1, side 2 has a scratch but I played it and frankly it surprised me as it turned to be out more surface than anything and so it played all through and NO SKIPS! Correct Teen Set orange sleeve, the former owner filled it out but she never mailed it. Hey Jude is a 1st press, solid VG+ Lp, VG cover 0r better, and it really sounded great (the song Hey Jude does not sound as good on a cd-almost too sterile, this has the deeper sound I like), Revolver is an orig stereo pressing, at minimum a VG Lp-it's pretty darn nice, cover only fair. The Beatles Second Album is a VG mono and I played this one too, it rocks. Cover fair. Mystery Tour is a VG+ on sode 1 and poor on side 2-it playes but has a scratch unacceptable to me. The cover is quite nice however, booklet still there though coming away, still it's better than many I see and so offered here for the cover, and maybe your Lp is better (1 side is nice, really too bad). Bonus: A rare late issue 1962 - 1966 not pictured, purple label and the last issue of this on US Lp from Capitol, these are C1 pressings but from analog sources just before those digital felt to rival an MFSL in NM condition. This ones cover has some water staining & in general it's not so hot, but inside 1 lp is in great condition-sides 1& 2 beginning with Love Me Do and ending with Yesterday, the other is unfortunately missing so too bad about that, so this is a free bonus - and I played it. The sound is excellent, all those early 60's Beatles hits just sound wonderful. No international on this please-it's too heavy and would be too expensive to mail.
Vinyl has a uniquely awesome sound - if you grew up in the US in the 60's or 70's you know the difference.
