Up for auction is this Beatles Picture Sleeve: I Feel Fine / She's A Woman, catalog # C-5327 on Capitol Records. This scarce early Beatles single was issued in November 1964.
It won't be long before all these major Beatles events/releases reach their 50th anniversary, and there's sure to be a resurgence in the popularity!
This auction is for the sleeve only.
The sleeve is in NICE condition! The sleeve has a VERY light record impression and a VERY light ring wear. The corners are all still in great condition. There isn't any writing or any stickers anywhere on the sleeve. There are no seam splits or tears along the edge of any size. The sleeve conservatively grades VG+ to NM- or about an 80 on a 100 point scale.
I will start the bidding at $19.99 which is a great starting price for this highly desirable EARLY Beatles collectible.
For you investment minded collectors, Beatles collectibles have a proven track record as solid investments. Demand for quality Beatles products has remained consistently high over several decades and price guide values reflect that demand.
For example, the 1987 Perry Cox/Michael Miller Beatles price guide values this sleeve at $22 in NM and at $10 VG condition. The 2007 Perry Cox/Frank Daniels price guide says it is worth $100 in NM and $25 in VG condition. That's over a 350% increase in NM and a 150% increase in VG condition, over a 20 year period.
Winning bidders: Please make payment or contact me and make payment arrangements within 3 days of end of auction.
All Records and Picture Sleeves will be packaged securely in high quality protective cardboard mailers. 45's and Picture Sleeves can and will be mailed using USPS First Class mail unless you specify another service such as Priority Mail. Heavier packages (something like six 45's or more) MUST be sent via Priority Mail due to the weight. Multiple auction winners: Please wait for one invoice that includes all of your auction winnings so that you can take advantage of shipping discounts. I will ship internationally using USPS First Class mail IF that is an option. USPS International Priority Mail is another option, but it is much more expensive.
