The vinyl record is NEAR MINT condition!

In the late 1966 starts 2nd press - Variant A label. The typeset used on the “A Hard Day’s Night” label seemed to have also changed to Times New Roman. The layout of the track listing was also re-arranged to incorporate the differing type size, most notably the track If I Fell on side 1 has a line all to itself on this variation. The side 2 tracklist also now have the periods after each track removed. 'Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.' front laminated cover, with small “mono” on front. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. But omits “Recording first published 1964?. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code on the label. Matrix numbers remain the same: Side 1: XEX 481-3N; Side 2: XEX 482-3N. Before 1969 appears the second version of the 2nd press - Variant B label. It has a changed font again San Serif. The layout of the track listing was also re-arranged to incorporate the differing type size - side 1 is different, but side 2 is similar to variant A of the first press. 2nd press Variant B appears transition to the appeared at the period summer 1969 – November 1969 3rd press. In the 3rd press omits “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. The last Yellow/Black Parlophon label appears during summer 1981 - August 1982 with printing of the 4th press of this iconic album.

The last three presses: 2nd, 4th 3tai collectibles are valuable because of considerably smaller print runs, which are printed compared with the first press of 1964. Collectors sometimes confused because the first four presses 1964-1982 are printed with exactly the same Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 481-3N; Side 2: XEX 482-3N.

It is very difficult to find a second press of this iconic album, but also in this incredible condition is absolutely crazy luck. Look for and you will see .... just do not miss it.

CONDITIONS

VINYL
The vinyl itself is in excellent visual condition, glossy surface, without any scratches in result that it has been most probably played only a few times. Also missing  any minor traces of insertion and removal of records from the bag, they usually has and best preserved records of the inner sleeve use. NEAR MINT!
PLEASE NOTE, This vinyl was pressed on the EMI on old machines press. IT’S NOT CBS PRESSING,  as many people think! THIS IS EMI PRESSING! To date only three Beatles albums have been found in this variation and they’re A Hard Day’s Night, Rubber Soul and Revolver.
On both sides of the vinyl it plays fantastic from start to finish with NO any deterioration. NO skips/jumps, NO repeats! Sound quality is EXCELLENT!

SLEEVE COVER
The front laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents Pending' sleeve, with small “mono” on front, is intact and clear, without any signs and tears, showing light signs of wear in some places: there are a few marks of wear at the input and a small superficial flaw at the bottom of the back in which the laminate has come free exposing the surface beneath. Rear of the Sleeve has "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents Pending". Spine is excellent, very well legible and pinched at both sides. ( see pics.) EXCELLENT condition.

LABELS
Labels are Yellow Parlophone with silver print Type 6-1, Second pressing 1966 until 1969, Variant B! Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. Without “Recording first published 1964? text. Label have thin print. Labels are clear, without any signs or wears. There are only very light traces from the turntable spindle. With KT tax code on side 1, which is pressed very clear and legible. In late 1966, the typeset used on the “Hard Day’s Night” label Sans Serif print. The layout of the track listing at second pressing was also re-arranged to incorporate the differing type size, most notably the track ' If I Fell' on side 1 has a line all to itself on this variation. The side 2 tracklist also now have the periods after each track removed. NEAR MINT condition!
COMMENTS: Beginning in 1964, Parlophone (and all the other EMI companies) began printing a phrase in the centers of all their singles, EP's and LP's, which said: SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS. This notice appears on the labels of every UK market EMI product, from very early 1964, right through mid-1969.
On 1st July 1965, EMI underwent a merger and each individual ceased to be a L.T.D. company and became a subsudialy of "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." which was owned by EMI. This merger meant yet another label change occurred and previous "Parlophone Co. Ltd." rims where replaced with the new "Gramophone" rims.

INNER SLEEVE
Original Tracing-race-paper-lined “USE EMITEX” Type-3 die-cut inner sleeve. "USE EMITEX" Sleeve Type-3 (1963 -1966) has words  'Made in England' and the words "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" was removed from the sleeve. There is written with pen a name and 'A Hard Day's Night' on one side of the inner. EXCELLENT condition.

This original Beatles LP is becoming very rare and is very collectible, particularly in such perfect condition.

The terms of my sale are as follows:
1. I grade in line with UK Record Collector grading system as set out in the book, please note I do not use USA Goldmine grading.  My only grading that's different to the Record Collector grading system is I will only grade a record Mint if its sealed, I do not ever grade an unsealed record mint. My highest grade for an opened LP is near mint. Furthermore I do not grade under natural daylight I grade under a mega strong light that picks up any imperfections at all.

UK Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide: "MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
2. All LPs to Russia, Portugal and Italy have to be sent International 'Signed For' there is NO exceptions to this, also if you are from Russia it seems its taking 8-12 weeks to be delivered, I will post as soon as payment is received and enter tracking on the order page for you to view, once that's done its down to the Russian postal service to deliver it I can do no more and as stated it seems to be 8-12 weeks so if you cannot wait without opening a dispute when you can clearly see its on its way to you on the tracking please buy off a Russian seller then you will get it quickly.
3. Buyers are responsible for any customs charges incurred.
4. If a buyer is returning a item its very important that they mark return on the customs form because if you do not do this and I get a letter with a import charge on it I will not pay it as it is a return and the LP will simply get sent back to you as returned goods are not charged for by BG Customs.
5. Should you wish to return a LP as set out in Ebay policies the buyer is responsible for return postage, meaning I pay one way the buyer pays the other way.
