This truely EXCELLENT copy is a UK 1st pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1230

Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.

An 'MT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 1 label.

Housed in the rarer front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed cover with the front mono indicator.

Complete with its 'Use Emitex..' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

It has become very hard indeed to still find this album esp. in this great condition. Mostly the vinyl will be in a rather poor state as it was not cared for and played on inferior equipment. This is really a stunning heavy vinyl with a beautiful deep gloss.  Don't be mistaken, this is a great quality vinyl, worthy of inclusion into a great psych/Beatles collection!!!

This copy has clearly been extremely well-looked after and received only a minimal amount of careful play. My careful playcheck was a pleasure and found there to be no significant deterioration on any of these exquisite tracks. My favourite track of this album "Things We Said Today" was stunning with tremendous depth. Being critical, I did pick up slight static noise on the beginning of side two for the first 10 seconds or so. Both run-ins and all bands play silently and there is not a single clicks, pops, tick or any other audible distraction anywhere.

Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.

I have played this in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more in-depth observation. Of course there are NO skips, jumps or sticks. Occasionally some light static can be heard but this should subside on subsequent spins. I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!

Vinyl: EX . Absolutely great example of this extremely scarce glossy vinyl that has no problems. Sometimes a very light static which is hardly audible because of the powerful music. This is a heavy slab of beautiful glossy vinyl!!! A couple of the lightest hairlines which are not audible and hardly visible. Under a strong light the microscopic retraction type lines that every vinyl has unless it is unplayed. A stunner as I have not often seen before for this album. Needless to say, NO jumps, NO clicks, NO sticks!!!

 Sleeve: EX.  Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. Front laminated with three flipbacks. Mini corner "bumps", every album has this. The edges are deadstraight, the opening is nice and crisp. The spine is 100% legible. It will be hard to find this better.

Inner sleeve: EX. The original "EMITEX" inner sleeve which is fully polylined. This is how the album was first issued.

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible these days, LEAVE ALONE IN THIS STUNNING EX CONDITION!!!

Labels are EX with only minor spindling. NO writing!!!
