This is an original and very, very nice UK STEREO 1st pressing album 'ABBEY ROAD', from the Beatles. Recorded 22 February - 20 August 1969 and released September 26, 1969. Dark green label with an image of an apple on side 1 and sliced apple on side 2. First label variation have “An E.M.I. Recording” text on two lines and small “33 1/3” text moved to the left side. Publishing year printed with small copyright symbol ®. The label does not have 'Her Majesty' credit on the side 2. The labels are quite dark although the actual shade of green varies greatly among copies. 'Abbey Road' remains one of the Beatles' best-selling albums. The records were housed in black inner sleeve or white paper Apple inner sleeves.  The first version of the album cover has a green tint and full laminated front and rear sides.

CONDITIONS: ( VINYL DISC / AUDIO / SLEEVE ):  VISUALLY EXCELLENT(-) / NEAR MINT! / EXCELLENT(+)!

INNER SLEEVE
: The LP comes in its very light used original inner sleeve, Apple 'plain white paper/PATENT No. 1,125,555/MADE IN ENGLAND Type-3 (1969-?)'. EXCELLENT condition.

VINYL DISC: Both sides of the vinyl LP visually are in nice glossy EXCELLENT condition, the heavyweight thicker vinyl LP is free from scratches. There is shows on side 2 a few ultra fine surface marks/scuffs, likewise very light mark traces in the end on side 1, most likely caused by the placement of the record into the sleeve and wiped it with a cloth. It has absolutely no influence on the audio sound, that is deep, with crystal clear quality from beginning to end. NO jump, repeat, crackles and pops, or distortion. Here out there, between some tracks have a very light static clicks, typical for any vinyl LP. Audio sound quality is brilliant, NEAR MINT condition! LABELS: The record labels are in nice condition no writing ect. nice colours. Dark green Apple, very clean, clear printed text showing only a few very light cent?r spindle traces on side 2. Label have "("An E.M.I. Recording")" text on two lines. The left hand side of the label only have "33 1/3", "Mfd. in U.K." Publishing year printed with small copyright symbol ®. EXCELLENT(+) condition. SLEEVE: The LP is housed in full laminated cover without flaps on the back side. Cover was printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. The famous cover design done photographer Iain Macmillan, on the street crossing at Abbey Road studio. This initial cover has the green Apple logo aligned with the text. Green tint, coloring typical for the sleeves of the 1st pressing, with no fading to the rich colours. The front cover photo is standard, the height of John Lennon is 115mm. As a result of this, the trees and pavement on the extreme right hand edge or upper edge are much visible. Only minor remarks refer to barely noticeable ring outline in relief, but no ring wear, no creasing. Spine is intact laminated. Superb edges, sharp lovely and clean fully legible tight lettering lovely and clear near mint condition. The photographic artwork sleeve is in immaculate EXCELLENT(+) condition.
