Description
Please note: I have no interest in making items seem better than they are. "It is what it is". I try to describe as accurately as possible all issues with everything I sell. Check my feedback.
A note to INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS, please wait for an invoice before paying for correct shipping fees.
Up for auction is an original matching picture sleeve and 45 for:
The Beatles - "HEY JUDE" b/w "Revolution", Apple Records 2276.
This is a matching set with the HTF WEST COAST TAB-CUT SLEEVE and the VERY FIRST L.A. PRESS WITHOUT PRODUCER CREDITS OR MATRIX NUMBERS.
Both sleeve and disc are in beautiful VG+ condition with the following issues: SLEEVE - Shelf wear and a few scratches to that black finish. Ribbed perimeter impression, but no ringwear and very minimal record impression. RECORD - Probably VG+++ with 1 scratch on A side and a couple of light scuffs on B side.
Beautiful.
Note the ghosting effect on the outer perimeter of the labels; this was how ALL initial Los Angeles pressings were produced. It happened at the factory and is exclusive to VERY FIRST PRESSINGS of this record.
The rare (a word not used enough on EBAY) tab-cut sleeves were only issued on very early Apple Records and were discontinued in favor of the curve cut sleeves. Indeed, very hard to come by.
This is an opportunity to acquire the very first pressing of this initial Apple Records release with it's accompanying, uber-rare tab-cut sleeve.
There is no writing. There are no seam splits. There are no stickers.
A scarce matching 1st press set to find in any condition!
PLEASE ask any questions in time for me to answer them. Check out the pics (I always show both sides) and check out my feedback.
Thanks for looking!!!
The fine print...
