THE ICONIC BIG BLUE BOX TOTAL OF 13 LP'S (14 actually- the white album is a 2 lp set)!! rare Australia version! Includes: PLEASE PLEASE ME, WITH THE BEATLES, HARD DAYS NIGHT, BEATLES FOR SALE, HELP! RUBBER SOUL, REVOLVER, YELLOW SUBMARINE, SGT PEPPER, THE WHITE ALBUM (yes, with posters), ABBEY ROAD, LET IT BE, & RARITIES (Australian Parlophone put together their version of The Beatles Collection using the Australian editions of With The Beatles and Beatles For Sale . Both bear cover art unique to Australia. This set also includes Rarities and, because it was mastered by Australian Parlophone, She's A Woman, Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand and This Boy were all pressed in true stereo.)
Every LP looks absolutely new, I can't imagine a nicer set out there. I did a test play of a track or 2 from each and every lp and these are whisper quiet with probably no play time at all. I love the unique cover art, I'd never seen it before coming across these. The box is faded, some staining, some tape on 1 corner. It still presents OK, inside are this group of visually pristine lp's. I can't play all 14 lp's through, the tracks I played sounded like I was probably the 1st play ever. Clean, super deep black gloss, beautiful labels. As I understand it UK stampers and so on. I am not an expert on the box sets however. This will delight someone. Every record has a new appearance. I couldn't find a single scratch! Sort of a time capsule-like it was bought and just put away. A couple of the covers have small partial split areas from the records hitting in transit at some point-most do not!
Vinyl has a uniquely awesome sound - if you grew up in the US in the 60's or 70's you know the difference. Something as nice as this lot is not so often seen. The Lp's rock!!
