Beatles 3rd State Peeled LA Mono Butcher Cover (No Record Included)
Please read entire description/auction terms prior to bidding on this item. Thank You
This Butcher Cover is a first time offering. This came from a customer who wanted to trade up for higher grade peel. Finding a peeled West Coast Butcher Cover that doesn't look like it's ready for the trash can is not an easy task. This would look great in a frame and would make a great gift for that special Beatles fan. These Los Angeles covers with the notorious factory super glue have been destroyed by the thousands through amateur peeling attempts. This is being sold at a reduced price due to this being less than a professional peel. Take a look at the photos and please see below for specific condition description.
This item will be safely and securely double boxed and shipped to you via Priority Mail. Please read complete description prior to bidding.
Condition:
Front of Jacket:

Front cover displays nicely but exhibits many small abrasions/touch ups upon close examination. The good news is that a majority of the peeling issues are confined to the grey areas of the cover. It cannot be over emphasized how difficult these West Coast peels can be, even for the most experienced artist. Capitol glue residue/small scrapes, etc from the peeling process or any other issues don't completely overpower the presentation of this jacket, but check out the photos and judge for yourself.
Please see photos to verify specific condition and feel free to contact with questions.

Seams:
Top seam is complete with a small 3/4" seam break at the very end of the seam (see close up photo of mouth edge). Bottom seam is mostly complete too with just a small edge rub on the very end of the seam. Please see photos to verify.
 Spine:
Spine is complete and most of the writing is legible with some rubbing on the print of the catalog number at the end of the spine. (Please see photos to verify these areas).
Back Of Jacket:
The back of the jacket is fairly clean with light wear/aging. (Please see photo of back).
Trunk Slick:
Removed Trunk Slick is NOT INCLUDED in this auction.
Record/Inner Sleeve:
Mono record VG/VG+. Plays nicely with only occasional minimal background noise here and there. Included is West Coast Goldenrod Capitol Inner sleeve in decent shape with several inches of splitting on bottom and a little less on the sides which is fairly typical on these inner sleeves.
Terms Of Auction/Shipping:
Due to the recent inflation and subsequent increases in actual USPS shipping costs, Buyer pays $34.99 for properly packed double boxed priority shipping with tracking. Shipping of such a high value, large package with significant weigh is costly and labor intensive and will likely be more that what is being charged here. Regardless, the cost to you will be capped at $34.99. No International Shipping on this item. Bidders with low feedback or new accounts must contact us prior to bidding on this item. Seller reserves the right to cancel bids at any time. Due to the exceptional cost and labor involved in shipping this item, this is being sold "AS IS" and there are No Returns on this purchase. Please review all photos and descriptions and please contact with questions prior to bidding. This item has been through a laborious process from the 2nd state to what you see here, and as such, the grading is unique on this item. This cannot be graded like a comic book or a baseball card due to the fact that this jacket has twice been altered from its original state, once by the paste over process at the Capitol Factory and likewise by the peeling process. Any minor imperfections are from either process. The photos speak for themselves and we do our best to accurately grade these historic artifacts.  Thank You and Happy Bidding !

PLEASE NOTE: Title that states (No Record Included) is incorrect. Record/Inner Sleeve described and shown in photos ARE INCLUDED. T-Shirt Seen in Background on first few photos is NOT INCLUDED.
