Condition:
Front of Jacket:
High Grade Peeled Scranton Beauty. Pictures do not do this justice. Factory glue residue/ horizontal brush lines from the application of the trunk slick back in 1966 are light on this one. This is a far better than average peel and as a result touch up on this would be very minute.

Seams:
Top seam is complete. Bottom seam is also mostly complete with a typical small beginning crack near the end of the seam that appears to be secure. (See close up photos of seams). To protect the integrity of the seams and avoid future damage, a record should never be placed or stored in this jacket. This album jacket is nearly 60 years old and should be protected accordingly.
Spine:
Although most of the printing is present, there is some typical chipping/cracking throughout the bottom 3/4 of the spine below the album title which is not uncommon. This spine seems secure and it appears that the cracking was secured. (See close up spine photos).
Back Of Jacket:
The back of the jacket shows light to average age wear/tanning but no writing, tears or major stains. (See photo of back)
Trunk Slick:
Trunk slick is included and is in framable condition with some minor wear tear and repair (see photos of removed trunk slick and 2nd state prior to peeling).
Record/Inner Sleeve:
Comes complete with Mono East Coast mono pressing in G/VG- visual condition (many light scuffs and scratches). Plays through more like VG without skips or major issues. Correct East Coast Goldenrod CAPITOL INNER SLEEVE included but displays top edge wear and bottom split of approximately 6 inches. Record will come stored in a mo fi style inner sleeve .

This item has been through a laborious process from the 2nd state to what you see here, and as such, the grading is unique on this item.This cannot be graded like a comic book or a baseball card due to the fact that this jacket has twice been altered from its original state, once by the paste over process at the Capitol Factory and likewise by the peeling process. Any minor imperfections are from either process. The photos speak for themselves and we do our best to accurately grade these historic artifacts.
