Description
Beatles Authentic Peeled Mono 3rd State Butcher Cover
Beatles 1966 Genuine Scranton Peeled Mono Butcher Cover
A buddy traded this mono peel and I am selling it in "as is" condition at very little profit for somebody who is looking for a genuine mono butcher cover that won't empty your bank account. While yes, admittedly there is some visible problems and damage with the peel most notable confined to the area around John Lennon ,this is far from ready for the trash can and while this is far from a $600 or $1000 cover , it is a nice deal even on Buy it Now for under $350. Perfect for that Buyer who just can't spend a grand for a perfect Butcher Cover but wants a genuine one for under $350. The reserve is under $300 if you want to take a chance and wait. Seams and spine are as seen in the photos and show paper loss and cracking throughout but are nicely and cleanly glued. The back shows light to average wear with light staining and an abrasion on the top right corner that extends a few inches .Near Mint Peeled mono Butcher Covers can sell for as high as $1200 or even $1600 or more if they are really nice. I have often seen poorly peeled mono's of lesser condition sell for the $300 to $500 range. This is a guaranteed original 1966 Capitol 3rd state mono peeled Butcher cover. This is only a 7 day auction.
This auction is for the jacket only. Sorry, there is no record or inner sleeve included in this auction. Please note that the Beatles t-shirt seen in the background is NOT INCLUDED in this auction ! Due to the less than perfect condition, this album jacket is being sold in "as in" condition with no returns.
Please ask questions prior to bidding if you are unsure about condition of this item.

Please note that the abrasion mentioned in the auction text and seen in the photo of the back cover would be considered on the right side of the jacket if you have the front cover facing you, it appears on the left top left side of the back of the jacket and not the right side in the photo of the back of the jacket. Please contact me with any questions. Thank you.
