Description
THE BEATLES - Beatles for Sale- Mono EMI Parlophone PMC 1240 1st Press - Yellow and Black Parlophone Label with Recording First Published 1964, Parlophone Co. Ltd label text, with "Sold in UK..." text. KT Tax Code
This is an Excellent overall copy of Beatles for Sale in Mono, the Beatles' fourth UK Album. It includes I'm a Loser, and Eight Days a Week among others. The songs from this lp were split between Beatles '65 and Beatles VI. The sixties UK Beatles pressings from the sixties are made with heavier, higher quality vinyl than the U.S. Pressings and sound great!
As a Bonus, I will include a VERY GOOD MINUS copy of "A Collection of Beatles Oldies in Mono as well. This is a compilation of Beatles singles from 1963-66. This record plays through, but has several scratches and light surface throughout.
MATRIXES: XEX 503-4N, XEX 504-4N
COVER: EXCELLENT, Fully Laminated Cover with outline Large "mono" text is in good shape with no ring or spine wear. VINYL: EXCELLENT, The heavy 140 Gram vinyl is shiny with some light marks / scuffs that don't affect play. Plays well overall!!
LABELS: EXCELLENT , Yellow and Black Parlophone label has some light spindle wear. No staining or marks.
GRADING - I follow Record Collector Grading Conventions with +'s and -'s to denote the upper or lower area of the grade. All records are play graded for accuracy.
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. There may be minor surface noise. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
