Ok Beatles collectors.......Here is the real deal! This is a genuine Capitol records 8" double sided 45 acetate for the 45 release of The Ballad of John and Yoko and Old Brown Shoe. This was cut and dated May 21st 1969 a few days before the 45 was released. You all know how historic this song is and was! Well this is most likely the only copy on earth and if there are others they most likely belong to band members or their estates! This Is THE Capitol acetate for this 45!!! What I mean to say is that another copy, if another copy even exists will probably never be for sale again. The acetate has light sleeve scuffs etc. Being an acetate I will grade it a VG+ with a lot of life left. I don't believe that you could ever call an acetate NM as it degrades from the 1st play. This is a beautiful acetate and displays amazingly! It has not been cleaned really well for fear of causing damage to it. It is very stable though with no deterioration or flakes. There is an online catalog of all known Beatles acetates and this copy is not on it. I have recorded both sides for your listening pleasure. This could be the crown jewel of any Beatles collection!!!
