THE BEATLES
THE BEATLES - The Beatles Collection - Original FACTORY SEALED NUMBERED LIMITED EDITION LP box set on EMI/Capitol Records(BC 13)from 1978.
Box set contains 12 original UK LP's(no Magical Mystery Tour as that was a 7" double EP) plus the US version of the "Rarities" LP.
Box is still factory sealed. There's a tear in the shrink on the upper left corner(see pics 3 & 4) and a small break in the shrink on the bottom right corner on the back(see pic 5). Also, a tiny barely visible pinky nail-sized break in the shrink on the bottom left corner on the back.
Box is numbered in gold # 1978 on the front beneath the "LIMITED EDITION" sticker. I'm pretty sure this was limited to 3,500 copies.
Still has the original Sam Goody's price sticker on the back right corner.
There's a small area where there's an air bubble under the blue covering about where the number is on the front.
No corner 'dings' or anything like that.
As a bonus, I'll include the original Sam Goody's customer receipt dated 12/9/78 in the amount of $140.96 AND the original Sam Goody's paper bag it came in!
