Description
You are bidding on an original press of The Beatles Christmas Album released Dec 18, 1970 in the US on Apple Records (SBC 100). Exclusively released for members of the Beatles' fanclub and consisting of the 7 previously released fanclub flexi's.
The record shown in these photographs is the record you will win. As you can see, the matrix run out is as follows:
A side: SBC-1-100A... Bell Sound [stamped] sf
B side: SBC-2-100B... Bell Sound [stamped] sf
I choose to grade my records a bit on the modest side. As shown in the photos, the sleeve and record labels are clean, free of writing and stains. The sleeve does have some light shelf ware along the seams and mouth. The corners are lightly worn and you can see some signs of ring ware, particularly along the bottom. The vinyl record itself has been cleaned on a VPI machine and played graded all the way through. While there are a small number of light marks on both side, none affect the quality of playback. The album plays with surface noise that sounds either manufactured or perhaps transferred from the source recordings.
