Description
THE BEATLES LIVE IN PARIS, JANUARY 8, 1965 (AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWS) DOUBLE VINYL LPs - PRE-OWNED, GOOD TO VERY GOOD CONDITION - FREE SHIPPING I used to have the great pleasure of browsing in the record shops in Greenwich Village, NY in the 70's, 80's & 90's. Each month I'd find some special non-commercial vinyl releases. I bought this item back then and am now putting it up for sale. This two-album set is a non-commercial release, produced by Swingin' Pig Discs. If you're familiar with this collectors' company of hard-to-find audio and video, you'll know what a fine product it is. The sound is excellent and is presented on a clear/white vinyl record and a clear / bluish vinyl record; very cool packaging (please check the photos)... On Disc One is the afternoon show recorded live at Palais Des Sports, Paris, January 8, 1965 (the afternoon show), and Disc Two is the evening show at the same venue. While the songs performed are the same, the set list order is changed a bit here and there, and the between-song stage banter among the Fabs is different. Once again, the sound is excellent.
