Description

The BEATLES. “GOLDEN GREATEST HITS”. Vinyl from SWEDEN, Sleeve from DENMARK! This song list also ONLY from GERMANY!! NO other countries!! 16 Beatles Hits spanning the years, 1963-1970! TWIST AND SHOUT to LET IT BE!! Interesting Beatles cover with cover photo of actors chairs with the Beatles names on them! This is a set of Beatles Greatest Hits on an album first issued in SWEDEN/DENMARK/GERMANY in 1979, on PARLOPHONE. Done about the same time as USA BEATLES 20 GREATEST HITS! This LP contains several songs rarely chosen as Beatles GREATEST HIT songs, such as SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, WITHA LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS, and LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS!!! Several others!!! Titled BEATLES GOLDEN GREATEST HITS, and this version from 1979 WAS issued on the later Black Parlophone Labels. Of the 16 songs, 15 are from Lennon-McCartney. The 13 other songs all come from previous Singles and EPs issued Worldwide from 1963 to 1970. This one is produced by George Martin. Fantastic, as always!! The cover photo attracted me to this record immediately!! And the vinyl is graded Goldmine EX, my highest grade for opened items!! It appears UNPLAYED. No spindle marks, Fully shiny and NO writing! Very Clean! Photos 1-6 are the item for sale, other photos just for fun!! I started collecting worldwide Beatles various Greatest/Best Hits albums 20 years ago. I am starting to sell them off. I doubt EMI / Odeon will ever reissue these unique vinyl LPs again, so getting a copy under $100 is a Now or Never proposition!! Additional rarity hits here are: HEY JUDE, LADY MADONNA, WE CAN WORK IT OUT, and YESTERDAY! And my favorite from this batch, OBLADI OBLADA!! This LP is an Amazing conglomeration of interesting songs!! Of course every song is a classic, even today, over 50 years later! They all still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the Boys as they attack your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! This is a beautiful record, quite wonderful sounding! This LP is well kept and in plastic sleeve since its purchase by me in 2015, I quickly learned to handle them as little as possible, especially one of these Beatles International compilation reissues which I thought would become rarer and greatly treasured!! Read more on “45cat”, my favorite worldwide discography site. Trying to price it is guesswork. A couple others are up for sale on EBay, check them! I guess the market will tell me what this is worth! This one is Super nice! You decide!! See images, actual sale item, photos 1-6. Seller is 50+ year collector and keeper of all things Beatles related. Shipped with USPS Media Mail and Global Shipping Program. All purchases ship together for $5 total. So browse for others. Price reduces weekly till sold!! Who else does that??? Best to all!! Questions?? Beatle Lew.
