Description
Up for auction is a copy of Drive My Car / Michelle by The Beatles, released in 1966 on Parlophone, cat no DP 564. This 45 was pressed in the UK for export to Europe, and was never released in Britain. One of the rarer UK export singles.
Condition: a few marks on either side, nothing too serious though; everything plays through fine, and there’s plenty of gloss still in the vinyl. As with so many export 45s, the push-out centre has been removed, and there’s a little sticker residue on the Michelle side, but no writing, tears etc. All round VG.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor), following Record Collector’s grading guidelines, with an extra + or – here & there to separate the wheat from the chaff. I never use mint as a grade for used records. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings.
