BEATLES ''BEATLES FOR SALE'' 1ST UK PRESSING (((MONO))) CAT NO PMC 1240 EARLIEST EVER TO FIND LOOK -3N AND -3N MATRIX ENDINGS! (EARLIEST POSSIBLE)! CRISTAL CLEAR NEAR MINT AUDIO ON MY SYSTEMS!! JUST MINIMAL PLAY ONLY! UNBELIEVABLE TO FIND WITH M.T TAX CODE STAMPED ON SIDE 1.!!!! LOOK ''1'' MOTHER STAMPER ON SIDE 1. VERY VERY EARLIEST!!!! VERY NEAR MINT AUDIO ON MY SYSTEMS!!
Another from my personal collection!,, I have accumilated more than 1000 Beatles UK albums over the past 35 years or more!! This 45 year old album is mega impossible to find this early and in this awesome condition! The audio is truly awesome throughout without any clicks pops and also importantly without distortion which is often so common on 45 year old Beatles records!!!The reason that this is so desirable to any Beatles fan or collector is that this features the earliest possible matrix endings for this pressing look -3N and -3N!!! And even rarer still M.T tax code is stamped on side 1. (normally only seen with the more common K.T. tax code ) This is complete with the original Emitex poly lined sleeve and the laminated fron ,internal flipback mono gatefold cover both in at least excellent condition!!! Played with a dedicated mono cartridge on a top system, the audio will be hard to surpass in my opinion!! Please do not underestemate the rarety of this earliest 1st UK pressing in this condition very sought after and highly collerctable indeed!
''Beatles For Sale'' is The Beatles' fourth album, released in late 1964 and produced by George Martin for Parlophone. The album marked a minor turning point in the evolution of Lennon and McCartney as lyricists, Lennon particularly now showing interest in composing songs of a more autobiographical nature. "I'm a Loser" shows Lennon for the first time seemingly coming under the influence of Bob Dylan, according to leading Beatles archivist Mark Lewisohn!!!!

THE VINYL
Visualy in my opinion this looks like it has barely had minimal play only! The vinyl still retains its sheen from new!! THIS IS OF THE ORIGINAL THICKER HEAVIER AND DEEPER GROOVED TYPE OF VINYL! (Later press are much flimsier and less robust) Importantly I can not see any needle or audio sounding scratches at all! Any marks that are possibly seen would be very few light sufacwe scuffs only and (non) audio sounding nothing that would produce any clicks or pops what so ever! Unbeleivable to find on a 45 year old Beatles record like this!!!!
The Audio Quality!
I have played this vinyl through track for track at very loud volume on a top system,, using a dedicated mono cartridge!! The audio is absolutely superbe through out! Very important to note! ,, Without any distortion or signs that this has been overplayed at all! This is cristal clear and vibrant with a real rich and deep bassey feel only found like this on the earliest pressings (later press sound much blander in comparison) THIS VINYL PLAYS THROUGH WITH ABSOLUTELY (NO) DISTORTION WHAT SO EVER! I own many many copies and variations of this album with different stampers and have compared the audio between each other, and any who know or collect this record would know that many suffer from slight interfearance during certain particular tracks such as 'Mr. Moonlight' this is a common pressing fault, but this record does not suffer from this at all!!! I would class myself as highly critical ,,Please look at my completed listings of records that i have sold of this calaber and you will see that I normally get it right!!! There is (no) clicks or pops during the audio perhapes the odd light static tick in between some tracks that's all the audio was very near perfect through out on my systems, unbeleivable to find on the earliest 1st UK Beatles pressing like this!!!
PLEASE NOTE! I HAVE GIVEN MY PERSONAL OPINION AND WOULD CLASS MYSELF AS HIGHLY CRITICAL! ALTHOUGH I NEVER HEARD ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL,, I ALWAYS ADD THIS DISCLAIMER THIS IS A 44 YEARS OLD ORIGINAL RECORD PLEASE ALLOW FOR THE ODD STATIC (NOT) CONSISTANT THROUGHOUT THE AUDIO PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN PLAYED ON A SYSTEM THAT IS 44 YEARS OLD !!!!!!! THE AUDIO IS CLEAR AND VIBRANT EVEN BETWEEN TRACKS ANY NOISE IS EXTREEMELY MINIMAL
The Labels
Feature 'The Parlophone Co...'''' Around the label rim (Only eariest press) Also Features ''Sold in the Uk ....'' Text (only earliest press) Me3ga mega rare M.T. tax code is stamped on side 1.!! (rarely seen normally seen with the more common K.T. tax code!! The labels are excellent with minimal spidering that can be seen angled to the light! In my opinion it is obvious that this has only had minimal play for a 45 year old record! Little it no spindle ware the hole is perfectly round!
The Cover
This is the original laminated front gatefold cover with internal flipbacks (only 1st press) Very strong and straight! Super glossy appearance indeed! Very light general storageware to the botton corner of the spine only This has very slightly began to split (common on this cover) Minimal creasings only to the front part of the cover and the rear is exceptional in my opinion!! All internal flipbacks are superb! This must be at least excellent in my opinion!
The Record Sleeve
This is the original Emitex poly lined sleeve in at least excellent condition with light creases with age and side split becoming fragiler with age! This is the original!!!
THIS HAS BEEN STORED IN A CLEAR RECORD PROTECTOR WHICH WOULD ALSO BE DESPATCHED WITH THE RECORD.
