Extremely Rare MONO Red Vinyl w/o OBI!
This extremely rare copy of The Beatles' BEATLES FOR SALE is one of
a limited edition, 10,000 pressing run made in 1982 by EMI/Odeon - Japan.
Finding a nice copy of this is nearly impossible!
Why so rare?...
As most of you reading this already know, the monophonic, red vinyl Beatles titles released in this series were - and are - coveted by collectors.
These audiophile issues were carefully monitored pressing runs, and are considered the ultimate
way to hear the original Beatle mono mixes.
Using high definition virgin vinyl, the original U.K. mono mixes and extreme care in packaging, this Japanese pressed series of albums -
based on the Parlophone catalog in the U.K. - are the ultimate way to experience the Fab Four in mono.
In many cases, the mono mixes are quite different from their stereo counterparts.

I could have graded the vinyl near mint, but due to the fact that both labels show spindle marks, indicating the vinyl had been played, then i would grade it Excellent, or as per Goldmine: VG+ (this is just visual grading). The jacket shows some minor corner wear, and graded as VG. Its surface shows record impression on the front, crease by George's hair and minor bottom shelf wear. Spine have no splits though. The included English/Japanese foldout lyric sheet has a bit of browning due to its age, but has no tear or fold.
