Description
THE BEATLES - BEATLES FOR SALE LP (South African MONO Parlophone PMCJ 1240, 1964)
Ultra-rare, 1st South African press with sturdy, fold-out cover and on beautiful and mercilessly rare "Navy Blue" label (which has changed next year - after the Help LP))! You can't upgrade that copy!
Cover: EX+ (just a hair below M-) Beautiful shape & more sturdy than UK pressing. One, lite thumbnails on front - that's the only flaw. OK, minimal wears on laminate (as seen on the photo - in real it looks much better)
Record: EX+ Beautiful shape! I found maybe a 5-6 a hairlines. It's very unusual to have that title in such a great nick!
Labels: M- Glossy label in near perfect shape!
I know it would be cool to starts the listing with 0.99 or at least with 9.99, but in the last 15 years I paid a lot of hard earned cash for my (always cherished and well-cared) Beatles records. I always tried to find the items in best condition possible (NO VG, etc.). I know the Ebay it’s a huge lottery, but I can not risk too much. Please understand my point of view. Thanks.
You can bid with confidence – I’m a collector too, so I perfectly know what does it mean to win an overgraded record!!! You can check my recent, very positive feedbacks.
I took my grading system from Record Collector magazine (with EX between M and VG)
