Description

Up for sale is a stunning, investment-grade copy of The Beatles’ legendary 1963 Vee-Jay 7" single: "From Me To You" b/w "Thank You Girl" (Catalog: VJ 522).This is not a common 1964 reissue. This is a 100% authenticated, museum-quality May 1963 original first pressing from the revered Monarch Records plant in Los Angeles. It features the highly coveted, early "Vee-Jay in Oval" logo layout at the top of the crisp, vibrant rainbow colorband label. 
This ultra-early pressing features the short-lived, pre-Beatlemania (McCartney-Lennon) songwriting credit on the B-Side ("Thank You Girl"), capturing the brief moment in history before the iconic duo permanently inverted their credit billing to "Lennon-McCartney."
