THE BEATLES - FROM US TO YOU LP - A PARLOPHONE REHEARSAL SESSION - 10" - 33RPM - HEAVY BLUE VINYL - DRUCKEN AUF DEUTSCHLAND (LMW-28IF) - MADE IN GERMANY - RELEASED: 1975.
HEAVY BLUE 10" VINYL LP BY THE BEATLES CALLED "FROM US TO YOU, A PARLOPHONE REHEARSAL SESSION"". IT WAS RELEASED ON THE LMW LABEL (LMW 281F) OUT OF GERMANY IN 1975.
It came in various colored vinyls, and is NOT a Parlophone rehearsal but the BBC recording session for the show which aired on August 3, 1964. This was the first appearance of this session and was highly welcomed by collectors. The colored vinyl produces some minor surface noise such as minor crackles and pops. Nothing bad enough to really disturb the listening experience. Keep in mind these were practice versions of the songs so you’ll notice various feedback and distortion inherent in these early versions. It’s still the bloody Beatles and they sound great!
SOMETHING TO REMEMBER...EMI HAS STATED THAT SOUND QUALITY MAY NOT BE AS GOOD AS A NORMAL RECORD ON COLORED VINYL AND PICTURE DISC RECORDS. ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT AN EMI RECORD THE PRNCIPLES APPLY. I THINK IT SOUNDS GREAT EVEN WITH THE AFORE STATED CRACKLE AND POPS. THAT SAID THIS ALBUM MAY NOT BE THE CHOICE FOR AUDIOPHILES BUT THEY WOULD STILLTHINK IT SOUNDS GOOD.

THIS SLEEVE HAS TERRIFIC BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOS. IT HAS NO CREASES, NO HANDWRITING, NO SEAM SPLITS OR ANY OTHER ISSUES WITH THE SLEEVE. FOUR STRAIGHT CORNERS. THIS SLEEVE IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION. GRADES "NEAR MINT".
RECORD GRADING: VG+
THE BOYS REALLY PLAYED FAST BACK IN THESE DAYS. THAT OR THE EQUIPMENT THEY USED PLAYED BACK FAST. MUCH BETTER THAN NORMAL BOOTLEG OF THESE EARLY RECORDING SESSIONS. MILD CRACKLE IN SPOTS THAT DOESN'T REALLY INTERFERE MUCH WITH THE MUSIC. BEAUTIFUL 10" PRESSING ON HEAVY BLUE VINYL. QUITE NICE FOR THE BEATLE FAN THAT LOVED THE STAR CLUB, THE SAVAGE YOUNG BEATLES, ETC. THE RAW, ROUGH EARLY VERSIONS OF CLASSIC SONGS. I LOVE TO HEAR HOW THE SONGS EVOLVED AND THIS RECORD DOES THAT REALLY WELL. GRADES A STRONG "VERY GOOD PLUS".
