Description
Original from October 1970, of the 8 track tape cartridge version of The Beatles "A Hard Day's Night".
The front "tombstone" label is what identifies the first release as well as the denotation 7010 DP on the rear label. The item is in nice condition . All subsequent issues are Re-issues.
The tape has been tested/played throughout and found to be fine.
I have replaced the metal foil activating strip, put in a new pressure pad and cleaned the tape roller. Comes with a spare metal foil "channel changer" if ever needed.
The first release Beatles 8 track tape cartridge albums in Autumn 1970 came in a blue box as shown in the last two photos, (or just cellophaned) but most buyers discarded these as part of the packaging. The blue box is NOT included with this item but is shown for your information.
This item has the denotation 7010 DP on the back label meaning Oct.1970, the printers being Data Packaging. EMI's tape duplicating facilities at Hayes in Middlesex, UK, went operational in July 1970.
Posting in the UK and worldwide.
