MONO 1st UK PRESSING PMC1230 (1964)
MATRIX; SIDE 1 XEX 481-3N /SIDE 2 XEX 482 -3N
THE GARROD & LOFTHOUSE "PATENTS PENTING" FLIPBACK COVER HAS LIGHT CREASES ON FRONT & 1 INCH TEAR WHICH HAS BEEN REPAIRED ON BACK ALSO A BIT MISSING OFF FLIPBACK BOTTOM LEFT . OPENING EDGE IS CONSISTENT WITH NORMAL HANDLING. THERE IS NO UNWANTED WRITING.
THE RECORD HAS SOME LIGHT HAIRLINE SCRATCHES THAT HAVE NO EFFECT ON THE MONO SOUND QUALITY WHICH IS EXCELLENT.
COMES IN ORIGINAL "EMITEX" INNER SLEEVE .

First pressings (1964) The standard yellow block writing Parlophone label.The "All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label starts with "The Parlophone Co. Ltd."
The label DOES have "Sold in the U.K..." statement.
The word "mono" (or stereo) on the front cover is large.
