BEATLES HELP BLUE SILVER S. Rhodesia 1st Press PMCJ 1255 LISTEN
FOR AUCTION WITH NO RESERVE: The First S. Rhodesia MONO Pressing Of The Beatles ‘HELP’ Featuring The Extremely Rare textured "NAVY BLUE / Silver" LABELS. This is a remarkably rare LP displaying many attributes not found on any other Beatles Pressing. S. Rhodesia is stamped in the run off groove (Not to be confused with South Africa) The cover (Both front and back) and record labels feature the 3D old style Parlophone logo. The Navy Blue / Silver textured labels feature the ‘Non – Breakable’ text and several other text details which differ from any other pressing (The cover also displays a 1” plus wide lamination on the right hand side back cover. From time to time S. A note on grading I use the Record Collector grading system with the addition of a (+) or a (-) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition. Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Garrard 301 turntable with origin live silver mk2 arm and Ortofon Moving Coil cart.I have been collecting and trading records for many years and genuinely want you to be happy with your purchase. For this reason I treat grading very seriously and as my feedback suggests conservatively.

The First Press Blue Silver textured Labels Are Clean Featuring No Tears, Stickers Or Writing The Silver Text Is Fully Legible And A Joy To Behold. The Spindle Holes are sharp and clean– See Pics.. The Playing Surfaces are Flat And Unbuckled. Under Angled Light The Surfaces Show light / moderate Scuffing And Light To Moderate Scratches. With This Said The Remarkable Parlophone Mono Pressing Plays Far Better Than Looks Would Suggest (Please Listen To The Sound Clips Above For A Clear Sense Of Playback Condition) None Of The Marks Cause Any. An Honest Aural Grade Of VG+ Visual Grade VG- Cover:The Original Fist Press Small Mono Day Flip Back Front Laminated Cover Still Retains it’s Colour To The Front, the name Tate has at some point been written and erased on the top front quarter. There is also some staining to the front (Please see pictures) All 4 Corners Are lightly worn. The opening edge displays a 1” crease / tear which is secure. The Spine Is Legible , all seams are free from splitting. The Back Cover Is Fully Legible Showing light Discolouration.. Please See Images For Details Of The Noted Detractors. Overall Condition VG(-)
