1968 The The Beatles - Hey Jude / Revolution. Parlophone DP 570.
This is the rare UK EXPORT pressing of The Beatles Hey Jude / Revolution 7". This seriously rare single is made even more rare due to the fact it features a 'FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE' sticker to side 1. These initial factory samples would have been given out to reviewers and radio stations prior to the actual release date.
Hey Jude was normally issued on the Apple label, these UK EXPORT copies reverted back to The Beatles previous record label, Parlophone. They were made in Great Britain and only existed to be exported to countries where the Apple company was not yet (or could not be) registered as a company. In this case I believe the Hey Jude export single was destined only for release in Sweden.
These UK Parlophone export singles were pressed in tiny amounts when compiared to the standard UK Apple issues and are now highly sought after.
The vinyl is in the following condition. Side 1: EXCELLENT condition, side 2: EXCELLENT+ condition.
