Description

You are welcome to bid on this Beatles LP which I believe to be quite rare but which no doubt someone will tell me otherwise.

It is the Beatles Hey Jude 1st Apple issue export LP.

The very first pressing had an incorrectly titled label listing "Paperback Writer" as "Paper Back Writer" and "Revolution" as "Revolutions".This was spotted very quickly and production stopped with the incorrectly labelled records being withdrawn and destroyed. Some got out however and are now highly collectable.

Now,this copy I have for sale lists "Revolution" CORRECTLY but the error for "Paper Back Writer" is still there on the label (see photo). I have never seen this before on any Hey Jude pressing.I can only think they corrected the "Revolutions" error but then forgot about the "Paper Back Writer" error and a few copies of this mistake got out too but I cannot find any documentation of this anywhere.Anyway, good luck, all questions answered,low starting price gives everyone a chance.

CPCS106 Stereo Dark Green Apple.

YEEX 150-1 and YEEX 151-1 on dead wax.

Stampers 1R & 2GT  Very early,also proved by the "E.M.I RECORDING" on the label having no gap below it which the later pressings had.

Sleeve G&L ex-   just minor storage wear knocks to corners etc laminate all still in place,with spine all readable.

Plain white inner housing vinyl. Vinyl is ex+ apart from one thumbnail scratch at start of hey jude otherwise free from noticeble marks.White marks on photo of vinyl are dust which blow away.

I believe this to be a rare LP with a label error not seen for a long time.
