Description

Introducing The Beatles.   Cover ONLY in VG- condition.

     Sorry I don't have the record for this one, but this is the scarce mono blank-back cover for their first US album.  After research, I found that this was a stealth cover that VeeJay assembled when they were denied permission to put Love Me Do/PS I Love You on their albums.  They switched to Please Please Me/Ask Me Why but they still had some of the illegal discs left in the warehouse so they printed up some covers and left the back blank to get around the legal department.
     The cover has noticeable surface wear, but there are no seam splits and no writing.  It looks like the back slick got a wrinkle as it went through the machinery.   There aren't many of these so if you've got an extra version one record just laying around.....
