I acquired this single along with others from old shop stock which had been lying in an attic since the early seventies.
My assumption was, that this and the other records I acquired had never been played, but to be on the safe side (as I cannot be absolutely sure) I'll sell them as used.
Lady Madonna early issues had the insert offering the chance to receive a free poster of the Beatles. The closing date on the insert for this offer is 31July 1968. It is rare now to find any of these originals with the insert still intact.
The record sleeve is in superb condition, no marks or stains, no tears. The top edge is just a little out of shape from storage.
The insert is near mint. I guess I was the first person to take the insert out of the sleeve. There is a very slight ring mark from storage, but apart from that the insert is in original condition. No marks, perforation completely intact, and sharp edges all round.
The vinyl is in excellent condition. There are a few light paper hairlines, but other than that superb.
