In January 1963 Parlophone ceased production of it's red label design, which means
original "Love Me Do"'s are on red-label.

Early pressings are numbered 45-R 4949. The "45" part of the prefix was there to distinguish the order number from the "78" version. Once EMI dropped 78's in March 1963, singles after this date did not require the "45" prefix.?

"The Parlophone Co Ltd" in Upper and Lower case matrix suffixed with '1 N' indicating Ringo on drums & no tambourine version.

SINGLE This is a scarce and rare Beatles 1963 Pop Rock single and is graded in very good condition, with light marks and some light scratches seen on the playing surface only. ( Seen under hard halogen light )
LABELS Are in very good condition with no marks or stains seen. It does have a faint raised P T mark on side 2.
COVER Is presented in a Parlophone paper inner.
