The Beatles – A Hard Days Night – Genuine 1964 1st issue UK mono pressing with yellow & black Parlophone rim labels, ‘Recording First Published …’ and with ‘Sold in UK…’ label text, catalogue number PMC 1230 

 

20th Century Collectables is pleased to offer this stunning Mint- investment grade copy. An ultra rarity in this condition. It has been carefully stored and preserved since new and has only received 2 or 3 plays in its 47 year history. Looks and feels like it was purchased yesterday. A seminal album in many respects not least because it was the first ever Beatles record to feature all Lennon/McCartney compositions.

Visual: MINT -

A stunning looking record. The record appears mint in strong daylight and shines like new. Under a strong halogen desk light there are only the faintest signs of whispy sleeve removal marks. The heavy duty vinyl lies 100% flat on the turntable.

Audio: MINT- 

An absolute superb sounding copy throughout with no groovear to any of the tracks and no pops , ticks or surface noise. The quieter acoustic songs such as 'And I Love Her' have a breathtaking clarity. A wonderful listening experience.

Labels: MINT-

A great set of labels with only the faintest evidence that the record has been played. KT tax code visible on side 1.

An original 1st issue patents pending Garrod & Lofthouse cover which still retains its shop freshness high gloss laminate and looks like it was purchased just yesterday. The back panel shows no signs of ageing or discoloration. This investment grade cover has been carefully stored in a smoke free environment for 47 years.

Clean & correct with just a touch of light storage creasing.
