You are bidding on the EXTREMELY RARE,
MONO VERSION II LP copy of
Introducing THE BEATLES
Label: Vee-Jay (VJLP-1062) Year: 1964 Country: US
To the best of our understanding, this is a genuine MONO Version II.
It passes every one in the extensive list of tests, including the following:
- Covers-front and back-must have slicks that are either glossy or semi-glossy.
- Printing on covers must be of high quality and professional looking.
- Back cover lists contents in two columns
- Green in colorband
- Back cover containing Please Please Me and Ask Me Why.
- Labels have "THE BEATLES" and the title "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" above the center hole.
- Only gloss or semi-gloss rainbow/colorband labels are used on originals.
- All original labels have bright, sharp silver print.
- The vinyl trail-off -the gap between the end of the last track and the edge of the label usually measures from 7/8" to 1" wide.
- The rainbow/colorband that circles the perimeter of an original label is of high resolution, with smooth, gradual changes in color.
- The vinyl trail-off area has a mechanical Stamping (not stamped well, tiny, impossible to read - most likely "Audiomatrix")

Condition:
The jacket has ring, shelf wear and scuffing; splitting about four inches on bottom right; staple holes on upper left
The vinyl has a very high sheen. There are some visible, superficial scuffs/surface marks, but nothing we could feel with our fingers

We have to list a return policy now and the options are just yes or no which is very vague, but generally we do not accept returns. This is negotiable if there is a good reason, for instance if an item is seriously different than how we described it, but not for reasons like if you buy an item and later decide you don't want it.
