The BEATLES official USA Capitol 1988 reissue release of their 12th US Capitol 1967 STEREO LP album BEATLES - MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR (US) originally from Late 1967 with 11 songs, 6 taken from their UK double EP Set. But it’s yet another Beatles “butchered” album not fully consistent with Beatles albums in UK. No wonder they were always a bit miffed at Capitol. However, this one is considered a great US set of 11 Beatles original hits, and it became a standard LP in their legacy, and perhaps the greatest Psychedelic Album of all-time!! This Full Stereo copy uses unique Issue number 48062. Finally the B side songs are true Stereo!!! But is it Purple from 1978?? I think so, see photo 5-6 from 45cat!! See issue number on back cover, upper right corner!! See photo 2! Most likely Purple!! This one is produced by George Martin. Fantastic, As always!! The 33rpm vinyl is always the best way to collect Beatles albums. Another of the worlds great iconic covers on a record album! Great Wall Art all these years later!! Still the Beatles at their mid-60s greatest!! This STILL SEALED LP is graded Goldmine NM, never opened, believed to contain the Purple Capitol labels. I spent an hour trying to verify!! I bought this copy SEALED around 1990! It is UNPLAYED!! It is UNOPENED!! See photos 1-2 for actual sale item!! Truly the only way to list items as Near Mint. Eventually ALL Beatles UK albums were remastered for 1987 reissue in US and UK!! And of course remastered again in 1995 and 2012, I think. So, most of the “original ten” US Beatles Capitol Albums will probably NEVER EVER be reissued again on vinyl!!! GET A SEALED COPY WHILE YOU CAN!!! Apparently there is NOT a 24 page booklet inside this reissue, according to 45 cat. Be aware!!! Of course every song is a classic, even today, 55 years later. Multiple songs that are fantastic years later! They all still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the Boys as they attack your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! This is still a beautiful record, quite wonderful sounding!! Lots of hits!! The cover/sleeve is SEALED in original shrink wrap since its purchase by me. I quickly learned to handle them as little as possible, especially one of these original US reissues which I thought would become rarer and greatly treasured!! Read more on “45cat”, my favorite worldwide discography site. Trying to price it is guesswork. 300+ MMT albums are on EBay today. I only saw 4 with my black sticker in the upper right corner! I guess the market will tell me what these are worth! This one is awesome! You decide!! See images 1-2, actual sale item. Seller is 50+ year collector and keeper of all things Beatles related, working on year 3 of my 10 year plan to sell my collection!!! Shipped with USPS Media Mail and Global Shipping Program. All purchases ship together for $5 total. So browse for others!! Price reduces weekly till sold!! Who else does that??? Best to all! Beatle Lew.
