Description
After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a rare late 60's reissue pressing of the Beatles debut LP 'Please Please Me' on the Parlophone label.
This particular pressing came about in the late 60's, going by the label style. It features the (P) symbol and has Gramophone rimtext. This style was out in the shops when Sgt. Pepper and the White Album were topping the charts, so at a time when their earlier stuff sold in much, much fewer quantities!
And the copies that *did* sell around that time were predominantly stereo, too. Around this time mono was fast becoming an obsolete format due to stereo records coming down in price to match their mono counterparts, and stereo record players dropping in price to the point that everybody could afford one!
So, today, this particular is very hard to find!

The cover is holding up well, but a little damage on the back along with a little cellotape marking brings the grade down a little. The front has a nice, rich colour to it with a little, light dirt buildup and some little laminate creases around the edges. There's some cellotape yellowing up the mouthedge and a little rounding to the corners. Top and bottom seams have a little wear but have not torn or split in any way. Spine has a couple of little creases running through it but has not worn or split and is fully legible. Back cover has yellowed a little with a little light browning and dirt buildup in places. There's some light disc impression and yellow cellotape marks down the mouth edge. The top right overflap has torn as well. But overall the cover is looking good! Inner Sleeve: FAIR
The original black EMI inner sleeve is included. It's yellowed a little and has some light stains around the mouth edge. There's a little creasing but the seams have split and torn in the middle, which is what's bringing the grade down. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG-

The playing surface has a fair amount of light scuffing with some slightly heavier looking scuffs and marks. There's one noticeable mark on side 2 at the 3 o'clock position that runs through from the middle of track 2 to the label. I can't feel it under the fingernail.

The labels are looking really nice with just some light spindlewear and a touch of whitening around the centrehole.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
