On offer here is a VERY rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) called "Love Me Do" by The Beatles and is a UK 1962 1st pressing on the Red Parlophone label!!!! The B side is called 'P.S. I Love You'. THIS IS A VERY RARE SINGLE INDEED AND VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!!! THIS WAS THE BEATLES 1ST SINGLE AND VERY VERY HARD TO FIND INDEED!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS COPY LOOKS STUNNING, HAS PERFECT LABELS, AN AWESOME 1ST PRESS COMPANY SLEEVE, AND PLAYS SUPERBLY!!!! THIS IS ALSO THE VERY 1ST PRESSING FROM 1962 WITH 'FIRST PUBLISHED TEXT', A RED PARLOPHONE LABEL, NO 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, AND 'THE PARLOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT IN UPPER/LOWER CASE!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A 1962 1ST PRESSING OF THIS RARE SINGLE IS STUNNING CONDITION!!!! The matrix numbers are 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N. The mother and stamper codes are 1/GA & 1/GG (very early stamper codes - and BOTH from the first mother), and there is also a 'PT' Tax Code on the label and a 'PZT' Tax Code on the run off groove. This is an ORIGINAL UK Parlophone 1st Pressing on the Red Parlophone label and the Cat No is 45-R 4949. Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with STUNNING unrubbed and unfaded silver print, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! These are one of the BEST sets of labels I have seen for this single!!!! IT IS ALSO VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The record is in STUNNING condition and retains a SUPERB shine!!!! Most of these 60s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, 1 NON sounding hairline, 1 NON sounding scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays STUNNINGLY with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss, and NO crackle!!!! The single must grade STRICTLY Very Good++++ if not better and really does look SUPERB!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in a 1st Press company sleeve which is in AWESOME 'barely touched' condition!!!!
