On offer here is a VERY rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) called "Love Me Do" by The Beatles and is a UK 1962 1st pressing on the Red Parlophone label!!!! The B side is called 'P.S. I Love You'. THIS IS A VERY RARE SINGLE INDEED AND VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!!! THIS WAS THE BEATLES 1ST SINGLE AND VERY VERY HARD TO FIND INDEED!!!! THIS IS ALSO THE FIRST PRESSING ON THE RED PARLOPHONE LABEL AND IT HAS THE RARER (MORE DESIRED) 'MADE IN GT BRITAIN' CREDITS TO BOTH LABELS!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!! The matrix numbers are 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N. The mother and stamper codes are 1/A & 1/O (very early stamper codes - and BOTH from the first mother), and there is a ZT tax code on the label. This is an ORIGINAL UK Parlophone 1st Pressing on the Red Parlophone label and the Cat No is 45-R 4949. Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! If being HYPER-critical - there is a TINY lighter patch of colour (just above the 'Do'on Side 1 label). However I am almost 100% certain this is from manufacture - it really is BARELY VISIBLE AT ALL. It is DEFINTELY NOT a sticker mark and it is BARELY VISIBLE AT ALL. This cannot detract from these wonderful labels - take a look at the pictures!!!! The record is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines and only a few light paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays STUNNINGLY with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss, and NO crackle!!!! The single must grade FULL Excellent - if not Excellent+!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in a GREAT conditioned company sleeve!!!!
