SEALED MINT CONDITION !!
Sealed albums from the 60's by"THE FAB FOUR"
are
"HOLY GRAIL" FINDS !!
This factory-sealed album was found
at an estate sale with a group of
other sealed LPs (some titles in quantities)
so possibly the original owner was in
the record or radio business back in the 60's.
All of the albums found were from
1965 through 1969
and many had the original price stickers
on them - like this one for "$4.99" !!
The list price of $5.98 is consistent
with that time period as well,
since the label used the prefixes
to alert retailers to price accordingly.
After
THE BEATLES
and
CAPITOL RECORDS
renegotiated their agreement in 1969,
all of their albums sported a
"SO" or "SW" prefix, indicating a higher list.

the album title and artist name.
At the spine's bottom, there's the
CAPITOL "DOME" LOGO
followed by the release number
(with no prefix). I attempted to scan the spine
but, because of shrink wrap glare,
was unsuccessful.
That would seem to suggest
that this is one of the first pressings issued.

RECORD INSIDE.
There's no evidence that this was done
for this release.
Outer cover slick was pasted
onto a white gatefold jacket.
The record industry phased out
MONO PRESSINGS
beginning in 1968.
ON THE BACK COVER
further confirms that this is
indeed an original copy.
This pressing weighs in @ 1 LB./2 OZ.
In December, 1967, I was givena stereo copy (which I still have)
for a Christmas present.
The original 1967 cover has slightly yellowed
but, otherwise,
