THE BEATLES MEET THE BEATLES! Original January, 1964 U.S. pressing of The Beatles' first Capitol LP complete with the rare "The Beatles are Coming!" hype sticker, heralding the British Invasion and The Beatles' upcoming visit to the USA!
I have collected Beatles records and memorabilia for 55 years, and have sold on Ebay for over 10 years (100% rating).
From my personal collection, this is The Beatles' first Capitol LP.
The cover is VG+. It contains some folding but little ringwear. The rare hype sticker is located on the front cover in the lower left corner. It was created by Capitol as an extensive publicity campaign to drum up excitement for the Beatles' first visit to the U.S. The back cover lacks the "George Martin Producer" information, indicating that this is a first cover. The original store sticker is affixed to the back cover. The pressing plant number is "3".
The record is VG+. It does display some light, unfeelable lines but the labels are very clean.
The original blue inner sleeve is also included. It is in great condition, with a typical small seam split at the bottom.
