YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY!The jacket is sturdy and clean with tape along the seams and spine though they aren't split or even cracked. Normally tape on an album cover makes an ugly picture but in this case it doesn't. Take a close look at the pictures above; the tape is almost invisible and actually adds a nice frame. It certainly strengthens an already strong jacket. The cover shows none of the usual signs of age or wear; there's a tiny tear at top on back and minor wear at corners, o/w this jacket looks great and makes a very sturdy home for the LP. It's suitable for framing; it's nice to look at and safely contains the record and will for years to come. This cover is EX+ or better. Note: The word "BEATLES!" in the title appears in brown, a first printing with the number "3" at bottom right back surface indicating the Scranton pressing plant. A solid album cover!
The original, royal blue inner sleeve is NOT present so we have housed the vinyl in a state-of-the-art MFSL inner sleeve, the ultimate in protection. Before shipping we'll remove the LP from its original jacket and place it within a separate cover, heavy-duty and acid-free of course.
The labels show a few light spindle marks, o/w clean with the ridge about ¾" away from the spindle hole. Please examine the publishers named after each song title to confirm the record is truly a 3rd variant. Playing surfaces show not one mark of any kind conservatively grading at MINT MINUS. We cleaned the vinyl on a VPI and played it all the way through. The verdict is: It Appears MINT MINUS; It Play Grades MINT MINUS or Better.
