Up for auction is a PRISTINE copy of the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's issue of The Beatles' Abbey Road LP MFSL 1-023, manufactured in Japan.  The rare version LP was pressed by the Victor Co. of Japan.  The LP has never been played.  It is gem mint, as new as the day it was pressed. In fact, it has never been taken out of its original onion paper sleeve. The album cover is near mint, only because I wrote my last name and date very small on the back upper right hand corner, approx. 1/8" high. The corners are perfect.  It also comes with the cardboard insert describing the recording, mastering and pressing process, also quite rare to be included.  The insert is in gem mint condition. I am the original owner.  This LP has been housed in a plastic sleeve since the day I purchased it.   YOU WILL NOT SEE ONE IN THIS CONDITION VERY OFTEN.  THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO STEP BACK IN TIME WHEN VINYL WAS KING AND BUY A REAL GEM.   Brad Miller was both a producer and a recording engineer. In 1977, Miller founded Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, an organization dedicated to faithful sound reproduction. By slowing down the mastering process to "half-speed," by making use of a master tape as close to the original as possible, and by using high quality "virgin" vinyl made by the Japanese Victor Company, Mobile Fidelity set out to issue a series of Original Master Recordings in higher quality than commonly available to the general public.   THIS IS TRULY A SONIC WORK OF ART.
