General Description
Probably the fanciest of Parlophone's ideas (to our knowledge reserved to the Fabs only) was to a Double EP - In the U.S., however, label manager didn't believe in concept and success of such a "setup", which is why they decided to publish Magical Mystery Tour as a regular album. Took four more years for the Germans to join this approach (September 16, 1971, HorZu Green Apple SHZE 327 -stereo only-), while the audience in Great Britain "waited" for almost a decade (November 19, 1976, S/B double-boxed Parlophone PCTC 255 -stereo only-).
Up for auction here is the Worldwide First Press of the album release: Black Colorband withOUT "A Subsidiary of Capitol Industries INC...", "MFD. BY CAPITOL..." on labels, as well as the 24-pages full color picture book.
