Up for bids is an original Mono LP by The Beatles called "Meet The Beatles" on Capitol Records. Released in 1964.

RARE VERSION WITH NO PUBLISHER CREDITS BY ANY SONGS ON BOTH LABELS!!! A TRUE 1ST PRESSING!!!

This was a mistake the pressing plant made as they rushed the labels to be printed as the anticipation for The Beatles first Capitol release was very high!

Front cover "BEATLES!" is printed in brown font.

Back cover, bottom-right has a number "3" pressing plant number indicating an East Coast, Scranton PA pressing. 

Back cover also has no George Martin production credit.

Matrix (or trail-off) numbers read a stamped " T1 2047-F3 " and a stamped "IAM" triangle symbol for Side 1, and a stamped " T 2-2047-G4 " then a stamped "IAM" triangle symbol for Side 2.

Comes with original blue Capitol Records inner sleeve in VG condition.

NOTE:

The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.

Cover is in VG to VG+ condition. Front and back have minor scratching, marks and some wear. Front also has a small tear, top-center, away from the artwork. Both top corners have dings. 4 1/4" split on bottom at opening. Spine has some minor fraying happening and a little more heavier at the very top. Still a very nice looking cover.

I would rate the record’s condition as VG to VG+. Minor marks, scuffs and some scratches. Minor surface noise and distortion at times. Still sounds really nice on my player (not a surprise to me)!

Makes a great gift for any Beatles fan!
