Description
This is a third-state ("peeled") 1966 VP of the Beatles' "Yesterday ... and Today" album. The paste-over "trunk" cover has been expertly removed, revealing the original "Butcher" cover. The "butcher" photo shows some glue residue and is in excellent condition. The rest of the album has some wear and dirt marks associated with use.
This is a MONO LP pressed at Jacksonville, Illinois (the number "3" is stamped in the lower-right corner on the back of the LP, signifying the Jacksonville plant).
The spine shows some fading and minor tearing in the "a" of "Yesterday" and along the right side (mainly between the "a" and "p" of "Capitol").
The back shows a bit or wear and fading with a few scuff marks along the upper edge.
The record has the original "rainbow" label and shows some minor wear. I have never played the record so I can't say if it skips, but the record looks clean with some minor marks on it.
The record will be packed in a "Lifetime Record Sleeve" and will be packed OUTSIDE the album. I'll also include the original record sleeve, which has ads for 54 other Capitol LPs available at the time.
